Angel of Nightmares - Looping Animated Painting

The Angel of Nightmares - this entity often goes nameless, yet is known by many as a Watcher from Dreamlands - hence the moniker for the YouTube video.

This seamless mp4 loop was animated in After Effects, based on original artwork. I have been told many times that this creature seems familiar in some way.

I am hosting it on GumRoad with the gratitude of receiving donations for the 30+ hours of work that went into animating this, but my intention is to provide visibility to as many people as possible - regardless of their present resources available.

The inspiration for the painting is derived from a being who has visited me a handful of times in my sleep. My intention behind producing this work was actually to find the others who have also encountered this being. I have been pointed to the Hopi Kachina dolls, who are representatives of Sky Gods. There are an abundant number of these beings, all coming in a myriad of shapes, sizes, styles, species, and fashions. I can't say this is a picture-perfect representation of who I have witnessed, but the red, white, and black feathers were extremely distinctive from my first encounter. In later dreams, it would appear as blue, green, but one thing is always consistent - it gazes curiously from afar, the being is around 12 feet tall, and it is always - ALWAYS - looking directly at me.
